Distant Worlds – Legends, the second expansion to the 4x real-time space strategy game, Distant Worlds has been announced. The first expansion (very well received by gamers by the way) was Distant Worlds: Return of the Shakturi.

Distant Worlds has some nice mods available for download. This one is set in the Star Trek Universe in Jonathan Archer's Era, i.e. in the Star Trek Enterprise time frame of events.

Dreamatrix Publishing has revealed Space Force Constellations, a single-player turn-based space strategy game for the PC. There is no release date announced yet but there is already a gameplay trailer and some screenshots.

Indie developer Cliff Harris has been releasing Gratuitous Space Battles in chunks via expansion packs and DLCs. Today he announced the new GSB expansion "The Parasites"

SpaceSector did an interview with Chris Stewart (Producer and Designer of Sword of the Stars 2) in order to anticipate some of SotS2's new features. I think it came out great, revealing a lot on what to expect from SotS2. Hope you agree. Enjoy!

Jupiter's Folly is a (slow) real-time online board game developed by Iron Helmet Games. And I say slow because short games might last a week or so, while epic games may last months.
