I've taken a brake from game development and have started putting together a new games list/review site.
It lists only Browser-Based games that use Flash, Silverlight or HTML5:
AllWebGaming.com
All Web Gaming focus on games that might not otherwise get alot of attention and aren't already hosted on Game portal sites.
The site is still a work in progress, but it has enough games currently listed to be interesting for some people including great games like:
Astriarch,
Icycle,
Black Market, and
Flow.
If you like free browser based games, stop by and take a look, let me know what you think.
Looks good. So the idea is, as you say, to focus on bb games that are less known by the general public? So, no Travian, Ogame, Empire Universe, Khan Wars, that kind of games? I ask you this because searching around there seems to be a lot of bb game sites around so it's crucial when launching a site to focus on a particular not-very-crowded niche so to make it special.
Good luck!

Thanks, the games I'm posting have to be free and have no registration required to play. Even though those games I'm sure are fun and usually much more complex and multi-player, I'm focusing on more casual games that you can just pickup and play for 30 minutes and move on. Whenever I get to one of those massively multiplayer browser games that requires you to give your email address and register, I get immediately turned off and go somewhere else.
I know there are many browser game portal sites out there, but a vast majority of them host flash games, I'm more interested in the indie developer that hosts their own games. I'm hoping that's a niche enough. Besides, I'm having fun finding more browser games out there that I enjoy during the process.
I see. Games must be:
- Browser-Based
- Free
- Have no registration required
- Casual
- Indie
I would say you have a niche there.
Your current slogan is "100% Free web browser games with no registration required: HTML5, Flash, Silverlight".
If you go with the above factors you could use a slogan like: " 100% Free Web Browser Games. Indie, casual with no registration hassle."
One of the most important things you must give to your site readers is the immediate understanding of what your site is about, and what makes it different.
Good Point, thanks for that. I think you're right about the slogan. I'll work on tuning it up as you suggest.

How are things going with AllWebGaming.com? I noticed that you've been updating it regularly with more games.
I have three young nephews and they all like to play games in the web. They usually play facebook games but I know they also play flash games. Maybe you could create a kids category. Just a thought
