Starjack Online just launched. It is a free-to-play forever 4x RTS MMO.

It is an actual PC game with an actual client. It is not a browser based game.

You can build colonies, capture entire solar systems, direct fleets of warships or merchant vessels, command ground forces, mine resources, research inventions, customize prototypes, trade with other empires and more.

It was created by a small team of independent developers.
