Zeus: Master of the Olympus and Poseidon on GOG

Zeus is one of my favorite games of all time, I thought you could be interested to know about this if you love city building games.

Zeus was a rare game in that even people who loathed city management games seemed to like it. It had a Zen-like quality and was quite relaxing - even the combat, such as it was.

In an alternate universe somewhere I like to think my name is on the credits for this game as I was offered a QA job at Impressions a couple of years previous. Probably for the best that I turned them down - my game design skills have worsened with age and were terrible to begin with

Zeus is indeed special. I know because I played a good deal of city building games. You're right on the "Zen" feeling. When I was feeling a bit depressed (and still these days) I go play a bit of Zeus and automatically you feel better. We need more games like thoses. Light and humorous. Simple fun. I have Zeus and Poseidon on my hard drive. I mean, I have it in a folder shortcut on the desktop to this day.

I really liked playing this back in the day. I had a lot of good times with it.
