Civilization World for Facebook Announced January 8th, 2011 by Adam Solo Only 4 months after releasing Civilization 5 Sid Meier has announced he’s upcoming Civilization game. This time Sid turns to Facebook. The official title is Civilization World (aka Civ World). Sid says that in Civ World you will be joining your friends to form nations, which will compete with other player’s nations to rule the world. Sid also announced that they are going to launch the closed Alpha test of the game in January 12th 2011 and invites everybody to sign up at 2K Civ World alpha website to become part of the development testing.
