Not another bug hunt!&quot;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen2.jpg\" alt=\"Starship Corporation\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen2-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today I got a great tip from <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/zer0sumGames\" target=\"_blank\">Daniel DiCicco<\/a>\u00a0for a\u00a0fabulous\u00a0looking project currently at <a  href=\"http:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/starshipcorp\" target=\"_blank\">IndieGoGo.<\/a> Ever wondered how it would be like to be in charge of a spaceship\u00a0manufacturer company and be able to design and build spaceships with an incredible level of detail?<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to <a  href=\"http:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/starshipcorp\" target=\"_blank\">Starship Corporation<\/a>, a real-time strategy game where you create the layout for spaceships and planetary installations,\u00a0train your crew for emergencies and battle and build a business empire. The design detail includes things like corridors, stairs, elevators,\u00a0air supply, water, food, crew, medical supply, storage space, fuel supply, armor, shields and weapons.<\/p>\n<p>In the project video you will see many references to sci-fi movies and games that served as inspiration for the developer. But, can you do this man? :) I mean, use copyrighted and trademarked material for promotional purposes? Guess you did your investigations but I was surprised, and frankly quite shocked to see that, although I enjoyed it a lot.<\/p>\n<p><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen3.jpg\" class=\"thickbox no_icon\" title=\"Starship Corporation | So that's where the Nostromo was built!\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7424\" title=\"Starship Corporation | So that's where the Nostromo was built!\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen3.jpg\" alt=\"Starship Corporation\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.spacesector.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/starship_corporation_screen3-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing David, the developer, accumulates $5,727 from a his $6000 goal, with lots of time to spare (56 days). But this isn&#8217;t all. Development is divided in tears and corresponding funding levels.\u00a0The six thousand mark corresponds to Level 1, which is the single player part of the game. With it the game should offer ship design, crew training and ship building.<\/p>\n<p>Level 2 aims on multiplayer, design selling, trade, raid, destroy, terraforming and mining colonies. Quite ambitious stuff. If David reaches level 3 he plans on implementing a story-driven campaign with cut-scenes.
