XCOM: Enemy Unknown “Last Stand” E3 2012 Trailer

By on June 4th, 2012 9:08 pm

Another amazing XCOM: Enemy Unknown trailer by Firaxis and 2K people. This one put together for the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) event. No doubt taken from the game intro. There are quite a few outstanding and intriguing action sequences and cutscenes in this trailer. I wonder if some of those are in-game assets or if that’s all just part of the intro. Whatever it is it just looks freaking awesome. Stakes are quite high. Let’s hope that Firaxis and 2K games manage to deliver.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be out on Oct 12th 2012 (Oct 9th 2012 in the US).

I’ve watched a few of the E3 interviews and the game is looking quite nice. I also feel much better about the PC version as they emphasize multiple times that they are building this game with the PC players in mind. I think it’s going to be a nice surprise come October!

I really hope that PS3 version will not be dropped down in level of complexity.

    I’ve played UFO 1, 2, 3 those were a great games… next versions were a dissapointment for me:|

Anyone know what the PC requirements will be? I’ve checked several related websites and find no mention. I need to know if it is time to buy a new PC….

They don’t seem to be available yet. I always find odd that some game publishers don’t release system requirements when they are already accepting pre-orders. They should give people something.
