Europa Universalis IV Giveaway Contest! [CLOSED]

Europa Universalis IV | Grand strategy game by Paradox Development Studio and Paradox Interactive - Giveaway contest

As you may have noticed, we’ve been ramping up our coverage of games produced by the Paradox Development Studio, the developers of strategy games such as Hearts of Iron, Victoria, Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis, usually known as grand strategy games. These are historical-themed games, and you can argue that their only speculative nature, the kind we tend to follow in the site, is that you can take control of a historical nation and create an alternate history for it.

So, we contacted Paradox for the possibility of hosting a giveaway contest for what has been our most covered grand strategy title on the site, Europa Universalis IV. They generously complied in supplying 3 game codes for Europa Universalis IV: Digital Extreme Edition, a special edition that includes the base game and adds Muslim nation events, 12 unique cavalry modes for the Ottoman, Mamluk and Persian nations, and 3 new music tracks.

So, what do you need to do?

How to enter the contest

It’s very simple to participate and have a chance to win one of the 3 copies of Europa Universalis IV: Digital Extreme Edition. All you have to do is the following two steps:

  1. Follow SpaceSector.com on twitter OR follow SpaceSector.com on facebook OR follow us on Google+ OR register the SpaceSector.com newsletter (you are only required to do one of these actions)
  2. Leave a comment in this blog post (below) stating which of the actions above have you done.
Note: If you already follow us in some way just say which in your entry comment.

Examples of how you should post your comment to become eligible for the contest:

[your twitter id] follows SpaceSector on twitter

OR

[your facebook name] follows SpaceSector on facebook

OR

[your google+ id] follows SpaceSector on google+

OR

etc …

If you don’t want to specify all that information in the comment (like your social media ID or email), send me an email with the username you used in the comment and the rest of the information, so that I can track you and get you in the contest.

And, that’s it, you’re in! :)

How and when will the winners be picked

The 3 winners will be picked randomly with the help of random.org on February 28th, 2014 around noon EST. I’ll check those to see if they fulfilled the entry steps.

The contest closes on February 27th, 2014 around noon EST. After that point you can no longer enter the contest. I’ll signal that by changing the contest status to [CLOSED] in the post’s title.

Game prizes will be provided as Steam codes.

Here’s our Europa Universalis IV review.

Good luck everyone!

Many thanks to Paradox Interactive and Paradox Development Studio for sponsoring this contest.
